About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Brand & Public Relations Lead to drive our local branding and PR efforts in the Philippines. This is a senior-level role responsible for managing large-scale offline events, overseeing media and government relations, and ensuring our brand presence is impactful and aligned with business goals. You will be the key face of the brand in the Philippine market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement local branding and PR strategies to meet annual brand KPIs.
  • Plan and lead large-scale offline events, roadshows, and product launches with effective budgeting and impact analysis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, local municipalities, and industry associations to facilitate smooth approvals and operations.
  • Manage partnerships with local media outlets (TV, radio, print, digital) and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to boost brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with creative, social media, and paid media teams to ensure consistent, high-quality brand messaging.
  • Lead crisis communication planning and timely response strategies for brand-related issues or public relations incidents.
  • Track and report on branding performance, media exposure, event ROI, and audience engagement for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Public Relations, Media, Event Management, or related fields.
  • 8–10 years of proven experience in branding, PR, or event management within the Philippine market.
  • Hands-on experience working with Philippine government bodies, media companies, or industry associations.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage large-scale events (500+ attendees) or multi-city campaigns with measurable success.
  • Well-established network with mainstream media, KOLs, and event agencies in the Philippines.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • High emotional intelligence, presentability, and a strategic mindset.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
  • Experience launching or scaling a brand from 0 to 1 to 100 in internet, gaming, fintech, or entertainment sectors.
  • Successful track record of localizing international brands for the Philippine market.
  • Ability to converse in Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus.
Language Requirements
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Bonus: Conversational Mandarin Chinese
