Overview
As a Public Relations and Communications Senior Associate, you will help tell the story of DITO's Enterprise and Carrier Business—crafting compelling messages that connect with media, customers, and industry stakeholders. From managing LinkedIn content to securing media coverage, this role supports the team's mission to build credibility, trust, and visibility across the market.
Functions and Responsibilities
Strategic Communications & Planning
- Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with Enterprise and Carrier Business objectives.
- Support integrated campaigns that reinforce brand positioning and thought leadership.
- Track performance metrics and apply insights to continuously improve communications impact.
Media Relations & Publicity
- Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and briefing documents.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and relevant media contacts.
- Secure and monitor media coverage across print, broadcast, and digital outlets.
Content Development
- Create content for various channels including executive speeches, feature stories, Q&As, and internal newsletters.
- Manage the LinkedIn calendar and content pipeline for DITO Enterprise and Carrier Business, ensuring timely, relevant, and brand-aligned posts.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Product Team and creative units to develop multimedia content (e.g., videos, social assets).
- Ensure all materials are consistent with the DITO brand voice and messaging framework.
Issues & Crisis Communications
- Support the development of holding statements, internal memos, and FAQs during sensitive scenarios.
- Coordinate with legal, risk, and senior leaders to ensure timely, appropriate responses.
- Monitor reputational risks and recommend appropriate communications strategies.
Internal Collaboration & Alignment
- Partner with the Enterprise Product Team, Sales, and Corporate Communications to align messaging and campaign execution.
- Provide communication support for key business initiatives and internal rollouts.
- Serve as a communications liaison between the Enterprise group and central functions.
Job Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- At least 5 years' experience in corporate communications, PR, or agency work; telco or tech experience is an advantage.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both English and Filipino.
- Strong media network and familiarity with the Philippine media landscape.
- Experience managing corporate social media, especially LinkedIn, with a focus on B2B content.
- Highly organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
