Job Title: HR Staff (Recruitment / Payroll)

Job Summary:

The HR Staff for Recruitment and Payroll is responsible for supporting the Human Resources Department in sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates, as well as ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. The position contributes to maintaining compliance with company policies and labor laws while promoting efficient HR operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting qualified applicants based on job requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, examinations, and trade tests.
  • Maintain and update applicant databases, job postings, and recruitment records.
  • Conduct initial interviews and background checks for shortlisted candidates.
  • Support onboarding activities such as orientation and completion of pre-employment requirements.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers for manpower requests and selection updates.

Payroll

  • Gather and verify daily time records (DTR), attendance, overtime, and leave applications for payroll processing.
  • Encode and check employee payroll information in the payroll system.
  • Assist in computing salaries, deductions, government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), and other benefits.
  • Prepare payslips, payroll summaries, and statutory remittance reports.
  • Coordinate with Accounting or Finance for fund requests and disbursement.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with labor and tax regulations.

General HR Support

  • Help maintain and update personnel files and HR records.
  • Participate in employee engagement programs and other HR initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and labor standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of HR experience, preferably in recruitment and payroll.
  • Knowledgeable in labor laws, statutory benefits, and HRIS or payroll systems.
  • Good communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php18,000.00 per month
