Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced US Payroll Accountant to manage and execute end-to-end payroll processes for our US-based clients. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in accounting and solid experience in US payroll procedures, including compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end US payroll for multiple clients accurately and on time
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, hours worked, wages, benefits, and deductions
  • Reconcile payroll reports and general ledger entries
  • Respond to client and employee inquiries related to payroll
  • Coordinate with HR, finance, and external stakeholders for payroll-related matters
  • Assist in year-end payroll processes and audits
  • Recommend process improvements for better efficiency and compliance

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy and the like.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in US payroll processing
  • Strong knowledge of US federal and state payroll regulations and tax requirements
  • Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Gusto, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team
