The Fleet Maintenance Manager oversees the management, maintenance, and deployment of all company vehicles and heavy equipment used in construction projects. The role ensures operational efficiency, vehicle reliability, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and cost-effective utilization of the motorpool fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fleet Operations Management
  • Oversee daily motorpool operations including dispatching, scheduling, and tracking of vehicles and heavy equipment.
  • Ensure all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained, serviced, and operational at all times.
  • Manage allocation of vehicles and equipment to project sites based on requirements and priorities.
  • Maintenance and Repairs
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for light and heavy equipment.
  • Coordinate with mechanics and external service providers for repairs and parts replacements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair logs for all vehicles and equipment.
  • Compliance and Safety
  • Ensure all vehicles and drivers comply with LTO regulations, company safety standards, and insurance requirements.
  • Conduct periodic inspections and audits to ensure equipment safety and roadworthiness.
  • Implement safety programs and driver training sessions.
  • Inventory and Cost Management
  • Monitor fuel consumption, tire usage, and spare parts inventory to control operational costs.
  • Prepare reports on vehicle utilization, maintenance costs, and downtime.
  • Recommend disposal or replacement of unserviceable vehicles/equipment.
  • Personnel Management
  • Supervise drivers, mechanics, and other motorpool staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide training as needed.
  • Enforce company policies on vehicle use, safety, and maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (preferred).
  • At least 5–8 years of experience in fleet, motorpool, or transport management in a construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Proficient in fleet management systems, record-keeping, and preventive maintenance scheduling.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php75,000.00 per month
