About the Role

As a Turbine Senior Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and availability of turbine systems and their auxiliary equipment. You will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services (ETSV) team, providing technical expertise in maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance improvement of mechanical systems across the plant.

This role is ideal for a technically proficient professional with strong knowledge of turbine systems in power plant operations and a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of turbine and auxiliary mechanical systems.
• Monitor turbine performance, vibration levels, and system parameters to ensure efficient operation.
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action planning for equipment failures or performance issues.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision during overhauling, commissioning, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Develop, review, and implement maintenance programs, procedures, and documentation in accordance with OEM standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to optimize plant performance and ensure compliance with safety and reliability standards.
• Prepare reports on system performance, reliability, and maintenance activities for management review.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and plant modification projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer preferred.
• At least 5–8 years of experience in turbine operation and maintenance within the power generation or utility industry.
• Strong technical background in turbine systems, including valves, pumps, compressors, and auxiliary equipment.
• Experience in system diagnostics, failure analysis, and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Proficient in interpreting mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
