The Surveyor / Geodetic Engineer is responsible for conducting land and construction surveys, preparing accurate measurements, and ensuring that all site works conform to design plans and technical specifications. This role supports the engineering and project teams by providing precise data essential for construction and land development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct topographic, boundary, layout, and as-built surveys for project requirements.
  • Establish, maintain, and verify control points, benchmarks, and reference lines.
  • Operate and maintain surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS, Leveling equipment, etc.).
  • Prepare survey data, drawings, and reports for submission to engineers and project managers.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate implementation of design plans on-site.
  • Validate measurements and ensure alignment with project specifications and tolerances.
  • Maintain records of survey data and update project maps/plans as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures during survey activities.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies between design drawings and actual site conditions.
  • Provide guidance to survey aides/helpers as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Geodetic Engineering (for Engineer role) or related course (for Surveyor role).
  • Licensed Geodetic Engineer preferred but not required.
  • With at least 1 year of relevant experience in land or construction surveying.
  • Proficient in using surveying instruments and software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and organized.
  • Willing to be assigned to various project sites.
