Job Title: Surveyor

Department: Engineering / Construction

Reports to: Project Engineer / Site Manager

Job Purpose

The Surveyor is responsible for conducting accurate land and construction site measurements to determine boundaries, elevations, alignments, and other critical data essential for project planning, design, and implementation. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, legal requirements, and industry standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct land surveys and gather spatial data using total stations, GPS, leveling instruments, and other surveying equipment.
  • Establish and verify reference points, elevations, and boundaries for construction projects.
    Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, maps, sketches, and reports.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure measurements are aligned with project plans.
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data and resolve measurement discrepancies.
    Mark and set out reference points for construction works.
  • Monitor and check completed works to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
  • Ensure proper care, calibration, and maintenance of survey equipment.
  • Comply with legal, environmental, and safety regulations during survey activities.
    Provide technical advice and support to project teams when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Geodetic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Licensed Geodetic Engineer or equivalent certification (preferred, depending on project requirements).
  • Proven experience as a Surveyor in construction or land development projects.
  • Proficiency in using survey equipment (Total Station, GPS, Theodolite, Leveling Instrument).
  • Knowledge of CAD software and mapping tools.

Working Conditions

  • Field-based work at construction or land development sites, with occasional office-based reporting.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php20, Php23,000.00 per month
