The Accounting Officer – Treasury is responsible for managing the organization's cash flow and ensuring the accuracy of all cash and bank transactions. This role involves monitoring daily cash positions, preparing cash flow reports, performing bank reconciliations, processing payroll and government remittances, and handling liquidation of cash advances. The position also manages petty cash, oversees fund requests, tracks salary payables, and ensures timely submission of banking requirements. The role plays a key part in maintaining financial liquidity, supporting operational needs, and safeguarding company funds.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cash Flow Management
- Monitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational requirements.
- Prepare and update cash flow forecasts to anticipate funding needs.
Bank Transactions & Reconciliations
- Perform and maintain accurate bank reconciliations for all company accounts.
- Manage all cash/bank-related concerns and prepare requirements for banks.
Payroll & Government Remittances
- Process payroll and ensure timely payment of statutory government remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
- Track and reconcile salary payables and deductions.
Petty Cash & Fund Requests
- Manage petty cash fund and ensure accurate liquidation of cash advances.
- Oversee approval, release, and proper documentation of fund requests.
Financial Reporting & Records Management
- Maintain and review financial records for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures and profitability.
- Generate timely financial reports for management decision-making.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax laws.Evaluate internal systems, procedures, and risks, providing recommendations for improvement.
Coordination & Collaboration
- Coordinate with internal departments (Accounting, HR, Operations) to address financial requirements.
- Provide support during audits and regulatory reviews.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php18, Php25,000.00 per month
