Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Mon - Fri

The HR Business Partner is responsible for partnering with business leaders to deliver proactive advice, guidance, and coaching on a wide range of P&C generalist matters to build their capability and confidence so they can effectively lead their people and make quality decisions to achieve business goals. Areas of focus include ER issues, performance, engagement, talent management, remuneration and benefits and also to support leaders to plan and implement change initiatives.

Main Functions

Disciplinary Management

  • Review and provide feedback on PIPs prepared by People Leaders.
  • Handle end-to-end administrative cases, from minor to grave offenses.
  • Investigate Incident Reports received.

Performance Management

  • Review and approve 3rd and 5th month probation reviews, including for casuals.
  • Send out reminders for Mid-Year and Annual Performance Reviews.
  • Collate Mid-Year and Annual Performance Review Scorecards from People Leaders (if needed).
  • Prepare and issue Merit Increase Letters (if needed).

Employee Movements/Contract Alterations

  • Draft, route for approval, and issue documents for promotions, lateral transfers, secondments/HDA, and pay increases.
  • Provide guidance to leaders on all employee movement-related queries.

HR Administration in HRConnect

  • Update position details as needed.
  • Deactivate positions when required.
  • Process supervisor, personal information, and job information changes.
  • Manage promotions, transfers, secondments/HDA, and pay rate changes.
  • Process job requisitions (if needed).

Policy and Process Reviews

  • Assist in reviewing, drafting, and updating HR policies and procedures as required.

Exit Management

  • Manage termination of accounts.
  • Conduct exit interviews (if needed).

Helpdesk Management

  • Act on general inquiries and requests related to employee movements.

Sub Functions

HR Administration in HRConnect

  • Approve all transactions on HRConnect (if needed).
  • Address system issues or concerns (if needed).

Training

  • Facilitate Code of Conduct sessions.
  • Conduct Connect Sessions with People Leaders and HRBPs.

Database Management

  • Ensure employee records are accurate and updated in HRConnect.
  • Maintain correct separation details.
  • Record all internal movement letters, PIPs, and IRs.
