The Assistant Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Warehouse Supervisor in managing daily warehouse operations. This includes supervising warehouse personnel, monitoring inventory, ensuring accuracy in receiving and dispatching items, and maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient work environment. The position also requires basic computer knowledge for encoding and report preparation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities.
  • Supervise and guide warehouse staff such as checkers, scanners, and helpers.
  • Ensure accurate receiving, checking, and releasing of goods.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in periodic stock counts and reconciliation.
  • Encode and update warehouse records in the computer system or inventory software.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • Implement warehouse safety standards and cleanliness at all times.
  • Coordinate with logistics, purchasing, and accounting departments for operational requirements.
  • Prepare and submit daily or weekly reports to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
  • Handle employee concerns and assist in training new personnel.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • College Level or Graduate (preferably in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management).
  • With at least 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations or supervisory roles.
  • Computer literate (MS Excel, Word, and inventory systems).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Physically fit and able to work under pressure.
  • Responsible, trustworthy, and goal-oriented.
