Scanner

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scan barcodes or item codes for all incoming and outgoing materials.
• Encode and update scanned data into the warehouse computer system or inventory software.
• Verify item details against delivery receipts, packing lists, or purchase orders.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and arranging heavy items in designated storage areas.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of scanned and processed items.
• Coordinate with checkers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth flow of goods.
• Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization within the work area.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• At least High School Graduate or College Level.
• With experience in warehouse operations or scanning is an advantage.
• Computer literate (knowledge in using scanners, MS Excel, and inventory systems).
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items.
• Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Can work with minimal supervision and under pressure.
