1. Financial Management & Reporting
  • Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).

  • Monitor and analyze financial data to support management decision-making.
  • Prepare budget-to-actual variance analyses and recommend corrective actions.
2. Accounting Operations
  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory.
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting, reconciliation, and closing of accounts.
  • Review and approve journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations.
  • Implement and maintain accounting systems and procedures for efficiency.
3. Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws (BIR), SEC, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, VAT, withholding tax, and other government reports accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit periods.
  • Maintain proper documentation and internal control systems to prevent fraud and errors.
4. Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Lead annual budget preparation and forecasting activities.
  • Monitor spending and advise management on cost control measures.
  • Provide financial insights and projections to guide strategic decisions.
5. Leadership & Team Development
  • Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff.
  • Set clear performance goals and monitor progress.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
