Being an Accounting Manager involves overseeing and having direct responsibility and accountability to all the activities in the organization which contribute to the effective output & financial management analysis of the following:

1.  Organization's Financial Reports

  • Company & Branch level Balance Sheet and Financial Statement (P & L).
  • Consolidated Balance Sheet
  • Consolidated Income Statement
  • Cash Flow Statement
  • Comprehensive Income Statement
  • Statement of Owner's Equity (Stockholders Equity)

2.  Compliance to GAAP and best accounting practices.  Establish company standard of Account Process Flows towards efficient Record keeping.

3.  Audit Activities (Financial & Functional Audit) to its department. To assure accuracy and timely processing of transaction data.

4.  Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Aging of Accounts.

5. Strong coordination with other departments and maintain good employee relations.

6.  Collaborate with other Finance Section Heads to provide applicable financial analysist, ratios and managerial services.

7. Establish & maintain effective Internal Controls to all facets of the organization that contributes to its financial standing, forecasting & setting of corporate budget.

8.  Oversee and control other administration departments under its organizational structure.

9. Conduct Training, Cross training and Skill Development to finance & administration personnel

  1. Implement cut offs and timely submission of the Financial Reports to Executive Committee and Government Regulatory Body (e.g. BIR and other required agencies).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage Financial Management operations in a daily basis.

2.  Ensure that all Finance & Administration's major sections conducts their business transactions within the framework of established finance systems & procedures.

3. Develop and implement finance internal control processes and procedures to improve accounting efficiency and productivity.

4. Hire, train, and manage accounting personnel, ensuring that they are qualified to perform accounting tasks and procedures.

5. Develop and manage departmental budgets and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective finance operations.

6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all finance internal controls are consistently being implemented and effected accurately and on time.

7. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) of all Finance Sections. Provide financial management analysist & recommendations.

9. Reviews all Finance Sections accomplishment reports.

10.  Conduct regular performance evaluations of all Finance Sections Heads. Provide feedback and coaching to improve performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
  • Preferably CPA or MBA holder
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and audit compliance
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in accounting systems and MS Office applications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
