Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a prominent provider of business insurance broking and financial services across Australia. They specialize in assisting businesses to identify and manage potential hazards, aiming to minimize exposure to financial risks and ensure adequate protection of property and operations.

Currently, they are looking for a Claims Specialist to join the team.

This position is daily onsite and based in BGC, Manila - work hours are 6am to 3pm, Manila time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end claims for a portfolio of domestic and commercial clients.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and assessors to negotiate and resolve claims efficiently.
  • Support Account Managers and Broking Support staff on claims and client experience.
  • Interpret policy coverage and determine claim eligibility, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records using internal systems and document management tools.
  • Ensure strong client engagement throughout the claims process, providing timely updates.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Prior experience managing insurancae claims in Australia (brokerage claims experience is a plus).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders including insurers and assessors.
  • Organised and detail-oriented with experience using claims or policy admin systems.
