Job Title: Medical Claims Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Claims Specialist. This role involves researching and correcting rejected claims, re-submitting claims with supporting documentation, and communicating with payers to secure payment for claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and correct rejected claims and post payments
  • Re-submit claims as required with supporting documentation
  • Post payments or rejections received
  • Communicate with payers to status or reprocess claims
  • Bill Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance carriers
  • Update accounts receivable with new accounts or missed payments
  • Ensure all clients remain informed on their outstanding balances and debts

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, written, and verbal skills in English
  • High level of energy and organization
  • Ability to learn new things quickly
