JOB SUMMARY

The QA Engineer is responsible for the quality of software development and deployment. He/she is involved in performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Develop Test Strategies by defining the test objective, test environment, test approach, automation tools and strategy, contingency plan, risk analysis to meet the desired business requirements
  • Design, develop, and maintain the test and build pipelines to reach the defined quality threshold
  • Documentation of the test strategies and pipelines in the company documentation system to meet the technical requirements.

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver the software with the defined level of quality
  • Develop and maintain the build pipelines in common with the development team

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Primary:

  • Graduate of Computer Science or any IT-related courses
  • Must have at least 3 years of relative experience

Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of test frameworks and automation tools
  • Good knowledge of Web standards (HTTP, Rest, HTML5), and databases (MS Server)
  • Good knowledge of version control systems (Git and GitLab)
  • Knowledge of Azure and Docker
