Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent course or with experience in the same capacity. Newly graduates are encourage to apply.
  • At least 1 year experience in the same capacity, preferably from an ISO Certified manufacturing firm in the plastic injection/blow molding business.
  • Quality Control / Assurance in a Plastic Manufacturing Industry;
  • Has a keen analytical mind, responsible and has a strong decision-making,
  • Competence in all facets of quality assurance and control processes.
  • Can withstand long hours of work.

Job Summary:

  • Ensure products running per assigned machine meets and are within the documented standard specifications.
  • Provides appropriate disposition to all lots produced under his/her responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance of Production to standards and Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates with Outgoing/Incoming Line Inspector on problems encountered per assigned per assigned product/machine.
  • Checks reference samples and guides, and standard specifications if complete..
  • Ensures QA tools and equipment are calibrated, clean and in good working condition.
  • Timely collection of samples and evaluation per documented standards.
  • Provides coaching to product tenders and production personnel with regards to quality and inspection.
  • Communicates to concerned personnel defective found and ensure proper documentation of the incident. Recommends machine stoppage if necessary.
  • Conducts roving inspection of the on-going production, reworked products and post processing based on the sampling plan.
  • Accomplishes proper identification and tagging of inspected products. Ensure proper segregation per product and per status.
  • Conducts evaluation for all change color or weight and ensures area line clearance is done properly.
  • Prepares "Product Audit Report" for every filled-up quota of a product within his/her shift.
  • Accomplish QA Inspection forms accurately, and prepare reports, control charts, and other related documents.
