About the role

As the Accounting Supervisor at CREATIVE PARKING INC, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes. This full-time role, based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, will see you contributing to the strategic financial objectives of the business.

What you'll be doing

Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Oversee daily accounting activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurately processed
  • Prepare and review financial statements and other critical reports for management
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare related projections and reports

Compliance & Controls

  • Implement and enforce accounting policies and procedures to maintain internal controls and ensure accuracy
  • Ensure timely payment and compliance with all applicable tax regulations and other financial obligations
  • Support external auditors by providing necessary information and addressing their inquiries

Analysis & Planning

  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, preparing reports on anticipated revenues and expenses
  • Analyze financial statements to validate data and ensure accuracy

Other Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with other departments to gather financial data and ensure comprehensive reporting
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3-5 years progressive accounting experience
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
  • Experience in financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Proficient in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial management tools
  • Must have strong management and team leadership skills for overseeing accounting staff
  • Must know how to analyze financial data and solve complex accounting problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining financial data to team members and other departments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
