Job Overview

We are looking for a Bartender/Barista to craft and serve high-quality coffee, cocktails, and beverages while providing an exceptional guest experience. This role requires a blend of barista and bartending expertise, ensuring consistency in both coffee-based drinks and alcoholic beverages. You will maintain bar cleanliness, manage stock levels, and work closely with the service team to ensure smooth bar operations.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages following company standards.
• Craft classic and signature cocktails, wines, and spirits-based drinks with precision and consistency.
• Ensure drinks are presented visually appealing and served at the correct temperature.
• Maintain quality control for all drinks, adjusting recipes and techniques
• as needed.

Guest Interaction & Service Excellence

• Provide engaging and knowledgeable customer service, making recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Educate guests on coffee origins, brewing techniques, and cocktail ingredients.
• Handle customer inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally.
• Ensure a warm and welcoming bar environment that enhances the overall dining experience.

Bar & Equipment Maintenance

• Keep the barista and bar stations clean, stocked, and organized at all times.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, shakers, blenders, and other bar equipment.
• Conduct daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance routines for coffee and bar equipment.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and alcohol-serving regulations.

Inventory & Stock Management

• Monitor coffee beans, liquor, mixers, and other beverage ingredients, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries, checking for quality and accuracy.
• Minimize waste by following proper portioning and storage practices.

Team Collaboration & Training

• Work closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure timely and efficient beverage service.
• Assist in training new team members on coffee and cocktail preparation techniques.
• Contribute to menu development, suggesting new drinks, seasonal specials, and improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

• At least 1-2 years of experience as a barista, bartender, or in a hybrid barista-bartender role.
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and coffee brewing techniques.
• Proficiency in cocktail mixing, garnishing, and drink presentation.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic inventory tracking.
• Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
