About the Role

As a Planning Specialist, you will play a key role in production scheduling, raw material procurement planning, and inventory control for a fast-growing specialty ingredients operation. You'll ensure product availability and on-time delivery through close coordination with Production, QA, R&D, and Customer Service teams — balancing efficiency, cost, and quality.

This role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and will suit a data-driven planner who enjoys optimizing production flow, analyzing capacity, and improving planning systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage weekly production, packaging, and shipping plans based on market demand.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align plans with operational priorities and customer requirements.
  • Oversee procurement planning for raw and packaging materials to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Analyze inventory performance, identify slow/non-moving stocks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Participate in budget preparation, process improvement, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Support new product development (NPD) projects through capacity and timeline planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or materials management, preferably in food, manufacturing, or FMCG.
  • Strong background in inventory management, MRP/ERP systems, and production coordination.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with strong teamwork and stakeholder management abilities.
