Qualifications

  • Education:

  • A background in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field is Bachelor's degree is not required but preferred

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in purchasing/procurement in the construction industry.

  • Proven track record in sourcing construction materials, finishes, tools, and equipment.

  • Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and market pricing.

  • Ability to evaluate material quality and suitability for specific project requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation, cost analysis, and vendor management skills.
  • Familiarity with local suppliers and construction supply chains; knowledge of importation is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic procurement systems.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator in both Filipino and English.
Requirements & Responsibilities
  • Source, canvass, and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality construction materials.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, canvass sheets, and supplier cost comparisons.
  • Maintain updated supplier and material price databases.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials based on project schedules.
  • Monitor and track material deliveries, ensuring quality and quantity compliance.
  • Keep track of market price trends and new construction materials for potential cost savings.
  • Resolve supplier issues such as delays, shortages, or discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry standards.
