We are seeking a dynamic, driven, and highly skilled 
HR Head
 to lead our HR function in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will possess strong recruitment expertise, a solid understanding of HR operations, and a high level of emotional intelligence. As a key member of our PH team, you will play a pivotal role in talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, organizational development, and payroll management, ensuring our workforce is highly motivated, efficient, and aligned with the company's goals. You will also have significant interaction with stakeholders across various countries and work closely with the executive and regional teams for collaboration.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 5-8 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a 
    startup
     or high-growth environment.
  • Strong background in 
    recruitment
    —with proven experience in sourcing, screening, and hiring for telesales and other high-turnover roles.
  • Experience in 
    compliance

    contract negotiations
    , and employee relations.
  • Legal background
     is a plus, particularly with labor law and contract negotiation.
  • Experience in 
    payroll management
     and benefits administration.
  • Experience in 
    stakeholder management
     and cross-functional collaboration, especially with regional and global teams.
  • Experience in 
    organizational development

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding for telesales roles.
  • Develop and execute strategies to attract top talent and reduce time-to-hire, especially for high-volume telesales positions.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with recruitment agencies and other external partners to source candidates.

Compliance & Legal

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies, with a focus on employment contracts, employee rights, and benefits.
  • Provide legal support in contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
  • Keep up-to-date with Philippine labor law changes and industry best practices, ensuring the company remains compliant.

Payroll & Benefits Management

  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payments for all employees.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure that payroll is in line with budgets and company guidelines.
  • Ensure proper management of benefits, allowances, and other compensation-related matters.

Employee Engagement & Retention

  • Design and implement engagement strategies to improve employee morale, productivity, and reduce turnover.
  • Develop initiatives to address and reduce attendance issues, especially for telesales agents, while ensuring the team meets performance targets.
  • Analyze employee feedback and turnover data to identify trends and address issues proactively.

Organizational Development

  • Lead organizational development efforts to enhance team performance, foster career growth, and improve leadership capabilities.
  • Assess training needs and partner with teams to design programs that address skill gaps, including leadership development for emerging managers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to create a positive company culture, aligned with organizational goals and values.

Contract Negotiation

  • Negotiate contracts with BPO, vendors, service providers, and partners, ensuring the best possible terms for the company.
  • Review and revise employment contracts and agreements to ensure clarity, compliance, and protection of company interests.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, regional HR teams, and department heads, to ensure alignment of HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams locally and across different regions to align on HR processes, policies, and goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Philippines team and global stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and implementation of HR initiatives.

Team Leadership & Support

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a growing HR team, fostering an environment of collaboration, growth, and high performance.
  • Handle complex employee relations matters and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Develop and implement performance management frameworks to drive accountability and excellence across teams.

Strategic HR Planning

  • Partner with the PH leadership team to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Help drive organizational change initiatives, such as new processes, policies, and system implementations.
  • Work closely with GEO or regional HR leaders to ensure consistency across regions while adapting practices to local needs.
