Where and how you can work

Our flagship campus is in Sydney, Australia, but with many of our Canvanauts calling the Philippines home, our office in Manila is a buzzing place. Your role is designed to help you succeed both at the office and at home, so we've created an environment that truly empowers you to thrive.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

• Reviewing, processing, and approving employee reimbursement requests in line with company policy and tax regulations
• Maintaining and enhancing quality control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance in reimbursement operations
• Assisting in the preparation of reimbursement reports for management review
• Handling ad-hoc payments and supporting management with custom financial reporting needs
• Reviewing and reconciling credit card statements, ensuring correct GL account and cost tagging in Netsuite
• Ensuring compliance through the organization and review of supporting documents (e.g., invoices, receipts) for audits
• Partnering with the wider finance team and business units to achieve goals, including meeting Shared Services SLAs and assisting with year-end audits

You're probably a match if:

• You're someone who brings a strong foundation in accounting, ideally with hands-on experience in travel and expense management.
• You're confident navigating general accounting principles and have worked with ERP systems like Netsuite
• You are familiar with Journal creation in Netsuite and reconciling vendor bills in line with Month End close processes
• Tools like Navan, Expensify, or similar tools are already in your toolkit, and you're not just familiar—you're fluent
• Your keen eye for detail and knack for reconciliation make you a go-to for getting things right the first time
• Communication is your strength, and your documentation game is strong
• Plus, you know your way around Google Workspace like a pro

About the team

The Canva PH Finance Team is the powerhouse behind our local financial operations, supporting our vibrant community of Canvanauts across the Philippines. From accounts payable and general ledger to payroll, forecasting, and travel & expense, this team plays a key role in helping us hit our crazy big goals.

Within that, the Travel & Expense Team is at the heart of ensuring our PH-based Canvanauts are supported in every step of their journey—quite literally. From managing reimbursements and credit card transactions to navigating travel-related expenses, the team makes sure everything runs smoothly and accurately. Their work directly contributes to making Canva one of the best places to work in Asia.
