Job Summary:

The Site Engineer (HVAC) is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and ensuring the proper installation and execution of HVAC systems on site. The role ensures that all HVAC works comply with approved plans, technical specifications, and safety and quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor daily HVAC installation activities including ducting, piping, insulation, and equipment installation.
  • Ensure all works are performed according to approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC Engineer, Safety Officer, and other disciplines (electrical, plumbing, civil) for proper workflow.
  • Review HVAC shop drawings and plans to ensure accuracy and completeness before implementation.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports, progress updates, and material requests.
  • Check and verify materials, tools, and equipment delivered on site against project requirements.
  • Assist in testing, commissioning, and balancing of HVAC systems.
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure timely and quality completion of assigned tasks.
  • Report any technical issues or deviations to the Project Engineer for proper resolution.
  • Ensure all works comply with safety guidelines and company policies.
  • Attend site coordination meetings and provide updates on work progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer preferred.
  • At least 2–4 years of experience in HVAC or MEPF construction projects.
  • Knowledgeable in HVAC design, installation, and commissioning standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple site tasks.
  • Willing to be assigned anywhere at Metro Manila.
