ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

o Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects

o Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications

o Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field

o Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status

o Assign responsibilities and mentor project team

o Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to aid and technical support

o Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

o Acts as supervisor of the Project, supervise and monitor day to day activities.

o Gives Instructions to all workers involve in a Project

o Reports to the PIC/Project Manager all project concerns needing immediate attention

DOCUMENTATION:

o Prepares Accomplishment Reports

o Prepares Schedule Update

o Take and Document Project Photos

o Prepare Sub con and Supplier Billings, requisition of materials, bill of quantities and bill of materials

o Prepare Tabulation of Change Order

o Prepares Request for Information (RFI) when necessary

o Prepares Request for Approval (RFA) when necessary

o Prepares Concrete Pouring Request (CPR) before actual concrete pouring

o Update Logbook of Daily Contractor's Report (for Occupancy Permit)

o Updates Weather Chart Daily

o Witness and document material testing results.

TECHNICAL

o Anticipate probable conflicts with the approved plans

o Investigates all problems encountered on-site regarding technical issues

o Supervise surveying/layout of the project

o Directs and supervises all engineering activities

o Works closely with the Foreman in selecting procedures and methods of various work

o Estimates various project material needs

o Follow up on material/equipment to ensure timely response to action items

o Schedule and monitor program of activities to achieve an "on-time" result.

ADMINISTRATIVE

o Investigates and helps resolve conflicts among site personnel

o Discuss Safety and Heath related matters with the Safety Officer of the project regularly

o In the absence of Project-In-Charge, the Project Engineer is bound to perform the duties of the P.I.C.

o Other tasks that may be assigned by supervisors from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php23, Php30,000.00 per month
