We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Civil Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for tender preparation, cost analysis, and bid submissions. Projects typically involve site clearing, detailed and bulk earthworks, roads, kerbing, and drainage works. Tender submissions are approximately 20 tenders per month, with project values ranging from $500,000 to $2M.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse tender documentation, drawings, and specifications
- Identify project scope, risks, and opportunities in contract documents
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil works (earthworks, drainage, utilities, structures, roads, kerbing)
- Perform detailed take-offs using Pronamics Expert Estimation & AgTek
- Develop unit rates, benchmark costs, and assess indirect expenses
- Engage with suppliers/subcontractors and prepare clear Bills of Quantities
- Provide clarification lists to mitigate risks and liaise with project managers, engineers, and directors
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Civil Estimator/Quantity Surveyor
- Strong proficiency in Pronamics Expert Estimation and AgTek (preferred)
- Candidates to outline measure/estimating software they have used
- Solid understanding of earthworks, drainage, and roadworks
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, cost management software and project tools (e.g., Primavera, CostX, or similar).
- Excellent English communication and negotiation skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work in the office full-time at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City. (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
