Job Overview:

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator (Electrical) to join our dynamic project and engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, performing quantity take-offs, and supporting tendering and procurement processes for electrical scopes across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and material take-offs for electrical works.
  • Review and analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
  • Develop and maintain cost databases and pricing schedules for labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Evaluate subcontractor quotations, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Participate in value engineering, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Prepare and review variation orders, progress claims, and cost reports.
  • Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and procurement teams during all project stages.
  • Assist in bid preparation and support contract negotiation processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying or estimating, specifically for electrical works.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and design standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and MS Excel; experience with estimating software is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC or local contract administration standards preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work in the office full-time at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City. (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
