Vestas has started its strategic workforce planning journey in 2024, and the practice is currently in its infancy. The department will support the maturation of our organisational effectiveness practices, including, but not limited to workforce planning.People & Culture > Executive Business Partnering > P&C Analytics & InsightsResponsibilitiesInitial Setup and OrientationOnboard and understand Vestas' strategic workforce planning journeyContribute to landing the delivery of in-flight WFP rollout stagesDefine the next phases of project scope, deliverables, and timelinesConduct initial meetings with key stakeholdersDevelop and communicate a clear product vision and strategyStart analyzing existing workforce dataTeam Building and Data CollectionSource and recruit team members as requiredOperational delivery of workforce planning processesContinue data collection and begin addressing data challengesDevelop a framework for workforce planning and strategic workforce planningConduct workshops and trainingProduct Development and ImplementationPrioritize and maintain the product backlogDesign the organizational effectiveness product suiteBegin operational delivery of the organizational effectiveness product suiteCollaborate cross-functionally with Finance and IT, including leading in a project formatOngoing activitiesCommunicate insights and shape conversations with stakeholdersEnsure alignment between workforce planning and financial planning processesImplement data and system improvementsEnhance the portfolio of products available in P&C AnalyticsAdvanced Implementation and Continuous ImprovementSupport behavior change within the P&C business partners and leadersEnsure the availability, awareness, and correct usage of the People Analytics/WFP portfolioContinuously evaluate and improve workforce planning processes and toolsPrepare and present project reports to senior managementQualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline, Finance / Economics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Project Management certification or consulting experienceExperience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in workforce planning or a related fieldLanguage: Candidates are fluent in English, both verbal and writtenCompetenciesStrategic ThinkingAbility to align workforce plans with long-term business strategyAnticipates future talent needs based on market trends, business growth, and emerging technologiesAnalytical & Data LiteracyProficient in designing & interpreting workforce data, forecasting models, and scenario planningUses and educates on how to use data to make decisions around headcount, skills gaps, and workforce optimizationStakeholder ManagementCollaborates effectively with HR, Finance, IT and business leadersRecommends and communicates workforce strategies to senior leadershipBusiness AcumenCan quickly develop a deep understanding of the organization's operating model, financial drivers, and industry dynamicsConnects workforce planning to business performance and outcomesChange ManagementLeads through organizational change, such as restructures, mergers, or digital transformationSupports leaders and employees through transitions with understanding and claritySystems ThinkingUnderstands how workforce planning fits into the broader HR ecosystem (e.g., talent acquisition, learning, succession)Designs integrated solutions that consider interdependenciesCommunication & StorytellingTranslates complex data into compelling narratives for different audiencesBuilds trust and alignment through clear, concise, and impactful communicationWhat We OfferWe offer you an engaging role with great professional and personal development opportunities in an inspiring, progressive, international work environment at an established manufacturer of wind turbines.
