FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Information Staff process requests for inpatient admissions entertains clients and conducts interviews with the incoming patients prior to admission and collects patient's data.

  • Assisting departments in relaying messages and communications thru the telephone paging system/public address system.
  • Responsible in answering incoming and outgoing calls from different departments
  • Responsible in entertaining questions and queries from incoming patients.
  • Responsible in locating and informing needed personnel thru paging.
  • Explains rates, charges, services, discounts and hospital policy.
  • Prepare and submit reports as requested.
  • Responsible and authorize in receiving mails and packages for the hospital.
  • Providing efficient and effective service to meeting patient's needs.
