Work Setup: Remote

Work Shift: 9:00 PM to 6:00 PM Manila Time.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled CAD Drafter with at least 3 years of professional drafting experience, particularly in US-based design and construction projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and knowledgeable about US building codes and drafting standards, capable of producing precise and coordinated drawings to support architectural and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed 2D CAD drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and details for architectural, structural, or MEP projects.
  • Interpret sketches, markups, and design intent from architects and engineers into accurate technical drawings.
  • Ensure all drawings conform to US building codes, client standards, and company drafting guidelines.
  • Coordinate and update drawing sets through different project phases (schematic, design development, construction documentation).
  • Maintain drawing accuracy, title blocks, and sheet layouts in alignment with US CAD standards (AIA layering, dimensioning, annotation).
  • Support Revit modelers or BIM teams in ensuring CAD drawings align with 3D models and overall project documentation.
  • Revise drawings based on feedback from project managers, engineers, and clients.
  • Organize and archive drawing files following established file management protocols.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience preparing construction drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Proven experience with US-based projects and understanding of US building codes (IBC, ADA, ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting, layering, xrefs, sheet setup).
  • Familiarity with Revit, Navisworks, or BIM 360 / Autodesk Docs is an advantage.
  • Strong technical drafting skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret design and construction documents effectively.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills within multi-disciplinary teams.
