We're a thriving, medium-sized E-commerce/Retail business with multiple online stores and two brick-and-mortar stores located on Australia's East Coast (Near Sydney). We sell almost all 4x4 and Caravan accessories along with Car Audio and Auto Electrical services. Our catalogue boasts over 20,000 products with the opportunity to bring on more products every day.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shopify Product Lister with a solid understanding of SEO principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately listing new products on our Shopify store, ensuring all product details are complete and compelling, and optimizing listings to improve search engine rankings and visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, optimize, and manage product listings on our Shopify store and across platforms (Frankies, eBay, Brandbeast JB-Hifi), including detailed descriptions, accurate pricing, variants, and high-quality images/videos.

  • Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-ranking terms for product titles, descriptions, and tags.

  • Implement on-page SEO best practices for all product listings to improve organic search visibility (e.g., meta titles, meta descriptions, image alt text).

  • Ensure products are categorized correctly and logically within the Shopify store.

  • Regularly review and update existing product listings for accuracy, completeness, and SEO performance.

  • Monitor product performance and make data-driven adjustments to improve sales and engagement.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align product listings with ongoing campaigns and promotions.

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all product descriptions.

  • Liaise with the graphics and warehouse teams for product images and stock updates

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Shopify Product Lister or similar role.

  • Solid understanding of Shopify platform functionalities and best practices.

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with on-page SEO techniques, including keyword research (e.g., using Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc. - mention if you prefer specific tools).

  • Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of English and attention to detail.

  • Ability to write clear, concise, persuasive, and SEO-friendly product descriptions.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Basic image editing skills are a plus.
