The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a strong background in telecommunications or IT managed services. This is a pivotal role within our growth strategy, focused on engaging decision-makers, qualifying opportunities, and building a high-quality sales pipeline. The right candidate will bring energy, curiosity, and resilience — combined with the professionalism needed to engage senior executives.
Key Responsibilities
• Proactively identify and research prospective clients within target industries.
• Execute structured outbound campaigns via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
• Conduct high-quality discovery to understand business challenges and technology requirements.
• Qualify opportunities against Ignite's solution set and book meetings for the senior sales team.
• Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions and pipeline activity in HubSpot CRM.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine value propositions, messaging, and campaigns.
• Consistently achieve activity, qualification, and meeting-booked targets.
About You
• 3–5 years' experience in a Sales Development, Business Development, or Inside Sales role.
• Proven success in telecommunications, ICT, or IT managed services.
• Strong business acumen and ability to engage senior decision-makers across multiple industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional presence.
• Resilient, target-driven, and comfortable with high outbound activity.
• Skilled in using sales engagement and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo).
• Motivated by results and keen to progress into senior sales roles over time.
