About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Venue Media Coordinator to join the team at the Philippine Football Federation. This is a full-time position based in Pasig City, Metro Manila. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating all media-related activities at our venues, ensuring seamless operations and a positive experience for media professionals and fans alike.

What you'll be doing

    1. Venue Media Operational Planning and Execution: Develop, implement, and strictly adhere to FIFA guidelines in managing all media-related operations and operational plans within the venue to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for all accredited media.

  2. Day-to-Day Venue Media Center Management: Oversee the daily operations of all dedicated media spaces, including the venue media center, mixed zone, and press tribune, ensuring they are functional, well-maintained, and professionally organized.

  3. Area Setup, Maintenance, and Resource Allocation: Supervise the initial setup, functional equipping, ongoing maintenance, and eventual breakdown of all media areas, including photo positions, while efficiently allocating workspace and resources for optimal utilization.

  4. Technical Support and Essential Services: Troubleshoot and coordinate with technical support teams for any technical issues within media areas, ensuring the continuous availability of essential services like power, internet access, and printing facilities.

  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration for Setup: Closely collaborate with the Venue Manager and Logistics team to plan and execute the physical setup of media areas, ensuring the venue infrastructure meets media needs and all areas comply with safety standards.

  6. Logistics and Resource Management: Coordinate the procurement, installation, delivery, and storage of all necessary furniture, equipment, and media-related materials, while maintaining a detailed inventory of all media-specific resources.

  7. Integration into Venue Operations: Actively participate in venue operations meetings, providing critical updates on media-related activities, and offering essential input into venue layout plans to guarantee optimal functionality for media operations.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in event media coordination or a related field
  2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with media professionals
  4. Proficient in using relevant media management software and technologies
  5. Thorough understanding of media operations and best practices in the sports industry
  6. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
  7. Passion for sports and a commitment to delivering exceptional event experiences
