About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at Insular Oil Corporation. As a Technical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of complex engineering projects, contributing to the strategic objectives of our organisation. This is a full-time position based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative engineering solutions
  • Conduct detailed technical analyses, feasibility studies, and design calculations to ensure project viability and compliance with industry standards
  • Prepare design specifications, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
  • Oversee the implementation of engineering projects, providing technical guidance and support to project teams
  • Identify and resolve engineering-related issues, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met
  • Participate in the development and improvement of engineering processes and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Technical Design Engineer role
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering complex engineering projects
  • Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and innovatively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and techniques
