We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative
Civil Design Engineer
to join our renewable solar energy team. The Civil Design Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, and review of civil works for solar power projects, ensuring structural integrity, compliance with industry standards, and alignment with environmental and sustainability goals. This role involves collaboration with project managers, electrical and mechanical engineers, and contractors to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and safe solar infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop civil and structural designs for solar PV plants, including site layout, foundations, drainage systems, access roads, and other related infrastructure.
  • Conduct site surveys, geotechnical studies, and topographical assessments to evaluate project feasibility.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, design calculations, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, renewable energy standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, mechanical, environmental, and construction) to integrate civil works with overall project design.
  • Review and approve construction materials, methods, and contractors' design submittals.
  • Provide technical support during project implementation, including inspections, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
  • Optimize design for cost efficiency, sustainability, and long-term performance.
  • Ensure all civil works adhere to safety and environmental best practices.
