Key Responsibilities:
Employee Engagement and Culture
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement programs, team-building activities, wellness initiatives, recognition programs, and CSR events.
- Conduct surveys and gather feedback to assess the impact of employee engagement activities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to promote engagement campaigns and events.
- Support communication efforts through email blasts, bulletin boards, social media, or internal newsletters.
Event Planning and Coordination
- Lead in organizing corporate events, company parties, town halls, seminars, and conferences.
- Manage all aspects of event planning including venue sourcing, theme development, catering, logistics, guest coordination, audio-visual setup, and transportation.
- Prepare detailed event budgets, ensure cost-effectiveness, and track expenses.
- Liaise with vendors and third-party suppliers for materials, décor, and technical support.
- Create event proposals, timelines, and post-event reports.
Administrative Support
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR department such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and organizing supplies.
- Assist in onboarding by coordinating welcome kits, orientation sessions, and introductory events for new hires.
- Maintain inventories and process requests for engagement-related materials and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in HR support or event coordination.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and attention to detail are essential.
