as an Audit Supervisor, you are responsible in assisting the Audit Manager in the engagement-level planning, supervision of fieldwork, and first-level review of audit issues of the audit team in the conduct of assurance and consulting services to improve the effectiveness of the governance processes, risk management and internal controls related to the engagement.

Conduct regular audits, and special reviews/investigations, whenever necessary, in accordance with internal policies, internal auditing standards, leading practices and regulations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Performs professional internal auditing work
  • Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards and completes all internal audit work in compliance with The IIA's International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards)
  • Identifies and evaluates the organization's audit risk areas and provides key input to the development of the annual internal plan
  • Performs audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.
  • Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations for improvement using independent judgment concerning reviewed areas.
  • Report to the management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities.
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement corrective action plans.
  • Preparing audit reports, forming opinions, making inquiries, complying with auditing standards, reporting fraud, and assisting in investigations.
  • Recommend improvements and monitor the implementation of corrective actions
  • Present audit results to management and stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • Professional audit certification such as CPA, CIA, or CICA is an advantage;
  • 3-5 years experienced in accounting and auditing function is an advantage
  • Computer literate
  • Preferably with strong personality.
  • Experience with business process analysis, accounting, and operations specifically in manufacturing or construction history;
