JOB DESCRIPTION

Assists in planning and supervising audit engagements, ensuring compliance with approved methodologies and audit timelines. Provides technical guidance to associates and ensures the quality and consistency of audit deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leads assigned audit engagements and prepares detailed audit programs and test procedures.
  2. Reviews associates' working papers for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to standards.
  3. Evaluates internal controls, identifies weaknesses, and recommends corrective actions.
  4. Coordinates fieldwork, exit meetings, and management responses.
  5. Prepares draft audit reports with clear, concise findings and risk-based recommendations.
  6. Monitors implementation of corrective actions and prepares status reports.
  7. Supports the manager in risk assessment, annual planning, and training activities.
  8. Ensures audit documentation meets the standards of the QAIP framework.
  9. Provides mentoring and on-the-job training to new audit associates.
  10. Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Key Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, or a related discipline (CPA/CIA or equivalent certification preferred).
  2. Minimum 4-6 years of internal or external audit experience (from bank or lending institutions).
  3. Minimum 1-year supervisory/team lead role
  4. Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or audit software).
  5. Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
  6. Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig City, and amenable to do fieldwork.
