AU Mortgage Credit Analyst (Remote)

This is your chance to take charge of complex loan files, guide junior analysts, and own deals from start to finish.
  • This isn't a back-office support role. You'll be front and center on big credit scenarios, helping shape advice and strategy alongside top brokers.
About the Role
  • You'll be the go-to person for structuring tough deals and interpreting lender policies.
  • You'll also act as a key connector between Brokers, CSMs, and the LPS team — ensuring the end-to-end credit process is compliant, strategic, and efficient.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Take full ownership of complex loan deals from allocation to settlement.
  • Review documents, calculate servicing (Quickli/lender calculators), and provide advice on structure and strategy.
  • Collaborate with lenders on tricky scenarios.
  • Review MIRs and manage submission hand-off to the LPS.
  • Coach and mentor junior Credit Analysts on technical and communication skills.
  • Guide the team through high-risk files and fraud detection.
  • Build best-practice templates for efficiency and clarity.

  • You're sharp, analytical, and know Australian mortgage lending inside and out.

  • You know how to juggle detail and speed, and you're not afraid of the occasional curve-ball.
About YOUR Work History
  • 2+ years as a Credit Analyst in Australian mortgage or broking firms.
  • Proven ability to handle complex lending scenarios.
  • Deep knowledge of lender policies.
  • Familiarity with Quickli, Finsure, and Hubspot preferred.
  • Comfortable leading others and reviewing their work.
