Job Description

As a Mortgage Broker Assistant, you'll provide essential support in loan processing, documentation review, and client coordination. Your keen eye for detail and understanding of financial processes will help ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient loan submissions for a seamless client experience.

The Qualifications We Seek

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
• Experience working primarily with an Australian-based business.

Skills:

• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work across the end-to-end client process.

Software:

• Expertise and sound knowledge of Apply Online (AOL) and lender portals (AOL is the central mortgage application processing tool for funders).
• Familiarity with Connective aggregator systems.

Your Daily Tasks

• Review supporting documents including Australian payslips, tax returns, bank statements, and ID documentation.
• Accurately input and verify client data for servicing calculations, funder comparisons, and loan submissions.
• Prepare and collate compliance documentation in line with NCCP and lender requirements.
• Liaise with clients, lenders, solicitors, and valuers to monitor loan application progress and follow up on missing information.
• Submit loans via Apply Online (AOL), and complete basic credit write-ups, background notes, and exit strategies.
• Maintain aggregator CRM and marketing tools for the existing client base as needed.
