Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in the insurance industry to join our team. The Product Owner will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog to ensure delivery of high-value features and solutions aligned with business objectives. This role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, with proven expertise in the insurance domain, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, and QA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market needs.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, translating business requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand customer needs, and drive value-driven product decisions.
  • Partner with engineering and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of features that meet business and quality expectations.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify opportunities for product enhancements and innovation.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for insurance-related processes, regulations, and products.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and review sessions.
  • Define and track key product KPIs to measure success and continuously improve product performance.
  • Act as the main liaison between business units, clients, and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an agile environment.
  • Strong background and proven experience in the insurance domain (life, non-life, health, or related).
  • Solid understanding of insurance products, policy administration, claims, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum frameworks, tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), and backlog management.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric mindset.

Salary: Open to discuss depending on the career level and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php90, Php130,000.00 per month
