The role

As a Product Owner at Ascendion, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and delivery of innovative digital products that transform how our clients do business. In this full-time position based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and prioritise product requirements, continuously gather customer insights, and ensure the successful implementation of product roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

  1. Act as the voice of the customer, translating business and user needs into actionable requirements for the development team
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with the overall organisational objectives
  3. Manage the product backlog, prioritising features and epics based on customer value and business impact
  4. Work alongside the development team to ensure efficient delivery of product increments, addressing any impediments or risks
  5. Gather and analyse customer feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform product enhancements
  6. Communicate the product's progress, value, and roadmap to stakeholders, championing the product's success
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's product management processes and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar product management role, preferably in the information and communication technology industry
  2. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and their application in product development
  3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  4. Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyse user feedback, market insights, and metrics to inform product decisions
  5. Proficiency in product management tools and techniques, such as user story mapping, MoSCoW prioritisation, and roadmap planning
  6. Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a keen eye for detail
  7. Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
