Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals according to recipes and ensuring that all dishes are served to our standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets company and health regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
  • Assist in menu planning, food inventory, and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Monitor food stock and report shortages to management.
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to all safety and hygiene policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food quality.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25–50 lbs.
