Your Role
As an AU Admin Assistant, you are responsible for:
Administrative Support
- Manage emails, calls, and inquiries with timely follow-up
- Maintain and update records, spreadsheets, and databases
- Prepare quotes, invoices, reports, and business documents
- Perform general office tasks, including data entry and filing
Scheduling & Coordination
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and service jobs for accountants and bookkeepers
- Coordinate with staff, suppliers, and customers to provide updates and manage inquiries
- Monitor workflow allocation to ensure efficiency and timely job completion
Customer & Supplier Communication
- Draft responses to customer inquiries and service updates
- Follow up on pending requests to support timely resolution
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in accounting practice administration
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Background in customer service, scheduling, or coordination (preferred)
- Experience with Australian accounting practices
- Familiarity with Xero XPM, Xero Blue, FYI, ATO Mate, and CAS360
