Position: AU Accounting Assistant

Location: Central Luzon

Your Role

As an AU Accounting Assistant, you are responsible for:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Manage receipting and transaction recording.
  • Handle trust account reconciliations, movements, and reporting.
  • Process creditor payments and direct debit runs (including variations).
  • Perform mid-month and end-of-month processes.
  • Conduct audits, including reversing and clearing entries.
  • Manage AR, AP, bank, and credit card reconciliations.

Xero Accounting Tasks

  • Process bank and credit card feeds.
  • Manage supplier bills, statements, and payment runs.
  • Handle payroll and credit card transactions.
  • Prepare financial reports and reconciliations.

Administrative Support

  • Check and maintain accuracy of data and files.
  • Manage sales contracts and coordinate processes.
  • Provide administrative and executive support to management.
  • Monitor and manage accounts email.
  • Collaborate closely with the Accounts team to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years' experience in local or AU accounting.
  • Strong background in AR, AP, reconciliations, and general accounting.
  • Skilled in administrative support, email management, and executive assistance.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Xero (certified).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Customer service-oriented, proactive, and reliable with a "can-do" attitude.
  • Quick learner, adaptable to new tools and processes.
  • Able to multitask, manage time-critical tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Honest, loyal, and comfortable working across different cultures and environments.
