About your new role

We are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join our team at GrowthOps Asia. This person will be responsible for supporting the Payroll Manager in delivering accurate and timely end-to-end payroll. The role ensures compliance with statutory requirements, handles payroll-related tasks, and provides assistance in resolving employee payroll inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.

Compensation:

  • Maintain all SG & HK employees (current and exiting) information in the payroll system such as, role, salary, bank details, leave entitlement, government contributions, civil status and/or dependents.
  • Update employee (current and exiting) information in the payroll system when changes occur such as, applicable pay increases, retroactive incentives and/or bonuses, applicable allowances and other similar in nature.
  • Prepare and serve buy out letter for HK. Monitor payment deadline and validate with finance the payment.
  • Process and issue employee salary slips and/or statements of earnings and deductions. - will be managed through Orisoft System.
  • Provide support for Audit reports
  • Conduct market and trend analysis compensation programs through market research and salary survey input and analysis on an ongoing basis. Stay abreast of compliance requirements; assist with formulation of recommendations to administer programs in a compliant matter.
  • Handle PH HMO enrollment and deletion

For Payroll Manager and Finance:

  • SG &HK Leave balances – every 1st working day of the month for last applicable month.
  • Support Payroll Manager in FY audit (PH,HK,SG,MY) – every June to October after each fiscal year; payroll, 201 documents and/or statutory benefits needed by external auditor.
  • SG and HK general ledger
  • Additional Tasks - Any other tasks or duties as requested by leadership or management to support payroll operations and financial reporting.
  • Salary report – provide report as needed

Compliance (for Government):

  • SG and HK tax annualization report
  • SG monthly statutory remittance
  • PH monthly statutory remittance

What we'd love to see from you:

  • This role is a contract role for 1 year and may be renewed based on performance
  • Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/ Management, Mathematics, Commerce or equivalent.
  • Above average communication skills, oral and written.
  • Proficiency on MS Office Applications.
  • Resourceful and Creative.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and keen in meeting deadlines.
  • Must have professional maturity to handle confidential information and shifting priorities.
  • Process and Systems oriented – ability to quickly understand and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Must have good sense of responsibility and strong initiative
  • Highly organized and with an ability to do multi-tasking
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively
  • Good administrative skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
