EMPLOYEE RELATIONS OFFICER

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Employee Relations Officer who will foster a supportive work environment, champion employee engagement, and uphold compliance with labor standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mediate concerns between associates and management to ensure fair and timely resolutions
  • Conduct and document coaching sessions to motivate, guide, and support employees
  • Address emails and phone inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
  • Plan and implement employee engagement programs, activities, and events
  • Organize and lead team-building initiatives to promote a positive work culture
  • Recommend employee-focused programs aligned with company objectives
  • Assist in company-wide events and assemblies, including agenda preparation and logistics
  • Develop strategic action plans to boost engagement and achieve company goals
  • Enhance HR and organizational processes through system improvements and innovation
  • Share reminders and advisories on business risks and potential concerns
  • Participate in creating, updating, and enforcing company policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and relevant government regulations
  • Protect sensitive employee and company information and records
  • Prepare reports, schedules, and documentation on employee concerns and initiatives
  • Interview and assess candidates for key company positions
  • Identify skill gaps and help design learning and development programs
  • Conduct onboarding sessions and improve orientation workflows
  • Use Google Suite and related tools for scheduling, documentation, and reporting
  • Design visual materials using Canva or similar editing applications
  • Maintain open communication and collaboration across all departments

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year hands-on experience in Employee Relations, Labor, Engagement, or related fields
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset
  • High level of ethics, confidentiality, and dependability
  • Flexible and adaptable to new responsibilities
  • Creative in developing processes, systems, and programs
  • Collaborative team player with leadership potential
  • Proficient in GSuite and skilled in document management
  • Strong visual presentation skills; Canva proficiency is an advantage
  • Capable of conducting and automating orientations
  • Well-versed in labor law and compliance requirements

Equipment Requirements:

  • Laptop/Desktop (min. i3/i5 or equivalent AMD processor, 8GB RAM)
  • Noise-canceling headset
  • HD webcam
  • Internet connection: Wired connection; minimum of at least 30 Mbps
  • Software: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, PDF reader, AnyDesk, Discord, Zoom
