
Account Executive

Responsible for accurately interpreting written and audio pieces in different languages, making sure to maintain their original meaning, format, and tone.
Responsible for streamlining all communications between customers and internal teams, proactively creating solutions to ensure customer needs are efficiently addressed, and creating and sustaining long-lasting relationships with clients. Crisis management skills, an analytical approach to designing solutions, and strong organizational and task management capabilities are characteristics integral to success in this role.
What you'll be doing (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Reading material and researching industry-specific terminology
- Converting text and audio recordings in one language to one or more others
- Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
- Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check the quality of the translation
- Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy
- Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs
- Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure)
- Network with field experts to stay current on new translation tools and practices
- Act as point of contact and handle customers' individual needs
- Liaise between customers and internal teams
- Handle inquiries and sales prospects via tickets, chats, voice calls
- Convert online website sign-ups to paying customers
- Initiate solutions to meet clients' needs
- Develop and maintain trusting and positive relationships with customers
- Prepare regular reports of forecast and progress by using key account metrics
- Continually seek to innovate operations
What skills & experience you'll bring to us (QUALIFICATIONS):
- Bachelor's/College Degree in any field
- Proven experience working in accounts management or logistics-related field
- Fluency in at least two languages in addition to your native language (Mandarin/ Fookien)
- Can read, write and speak in Mandarin/Fookien language
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
- Good knowledge of content editing tools
- Time-management skills
- Professional English verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and other productivity tools
- Strong sense of responsibility; ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Client-oriented, strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude dealing with people
- Excellent time, organizational, and self-management skills
- Quick-thinking, keen on details, with excellent crisis management skills
- Proactive and adaptable to changing work environments
