[Job Requirements]
- BS Accountancy or related courses is preferred, but any bachelor's degree is accepted.
- Minimum of solid 3 years' proven work experience in end-to-end payroll administration, withholding tax computation, annualization, and preparation of BIR 2316, BIR 1601-C, BIR 1604-F, Alphalist, government remittance and reporting of contributions and loans, and government mandated benefits.
- Well experienced in resolving loan arrears, and concerns on contributions and remittance.
- Accustomed to manual payroll computation and processing.
- Strong skills in MS Excel formulas and function.
- Significant experience in HRIS and Payroll System with experience in leading or experience in system migration project management.
- Lead company-wide training to keep stakeholders abreast with current and new programs, benefits, loans, systems related to payroll, salaries, tax, and mandatory government benefits.
- Big advantage if the candidate is from accounting and payroll outsourcing service industry and handling local payroll and tax.
[Duties and Responsibilities]
- Perform the full cycle of payroll including withholding tax and disbursement.
- Daily uploading of biometric logs and validation of DTRs, leave forms, and overtime forms prior computation.
- Attend and resolve issues about salary, payroll, and taxes.
- Maintain accurate and complete recordkeeping of payroll and salaries of active and separated employees.
- Compute for the compensation tax and withholding tax of employees, consultants, and partners.
- Compute the annualization and prepare yearly Alphalist of taxes withheld on compensation and perform BIR e-submission.
- Prepare BIR 1601-C, BIR 1604-F, and prepare and issue BIR 2316 to employees including substituted filing for qualified employees.
- Prepare and submit government mandatory contributions and loans report.
- Update monthly report to government statutory portals of employee movements for new hires, no income, resignations, and separations.
- Attend and resolve issues on loan arrears and remittances of mandatory contributions and loans.
- Compute, submit, and process mandatory government benefits including claims reimbursements (i.e. Sickness Benefit, Maternity Benefit, Special Leave for Women).
- Compute for leave cash conversion and release the same before January 31st the following year.
- Prepare and implement the annual rollover of salary adjustments and bonuses.
- Perform beta testing of HRIS and Payroll systems.
- Raise concerns to software developers as well as monitor progress until resolution.
- Set up employee profile in the payroll system completely and accurately.
